FLEXIBILITY & MOBILITY FOR ATHLETES WORKSHOP

Flexibility & Mobility for Athletes provides important information and valuable tools that are beneficial to all athletes.

Details:

Flexibility & Mobility for Athletes  is directed towards athletes looking to improve their performance, cardio, and mindset through foundational stretching techniques and breathing exercises. This workshop is a culmination of my experience in the arts and athletics, and I am passionate about sharing it with all athletes!  My mission is for attendees to leave this workshop with a toolbox full of knowledge to incorporate into their training regimen.

Flexibility & Mobility for Athletes is designed to expand the concept of what "stretching" means.  This workshop incorporates tips to help prevent injury through alignment training, increases full-body awareness, and introduces breathing techniques.  It is broken down into segments that cover the following topics and questions:

-  find out if you're really using your core

-  level-up your cardio and enhance stretching with breathwork

-  improve your flexibility and increase full body awareness

-  dive into the technical aspect of stretches, warm-ups, and cool-downs

-  Yoga vs Stretching: Do you know the difference?

Erick, Muay Thai Athlete

“Absolutely great seminar! I’ve been an athlete for pretty much my entire life. I’ve worked with many trainers and this workshop made me stretch parts of my body I’ve never hit before. It loosened me up a lot and gave me many beneficial stretches to work on in the future. I also gained knowledge of how many times a week I sould be doing certain stretches and breathing exercises in order to stay at the top of my game.”

Robert, Muay Thai Athlete & Yogi

“Amanda’s Stretching Workshop was an excellent introduction into flexibility training both in general and for athletes specifically. What made this workshop particularly beneficial was the fact that she kept it practical and hands on, while also discussing the theory behind the different stretches and how and why they apply. My favorite part of the workshop, though, was the breathwork piece. And mapping the breath to movement while engaging the core. I believe that mastering that piece, will help me immensely in my athletic endeavors. I look forward to delving deeper into that in future workshops. Overall, it was a great workshop and I look forward to her next one.”
